BiosCiences is a multidisciplinary team firmly committed to studies at the interface of chemistry and biology. Our areas of expertise include organic chemistry, coordination/bioinorganic chemistry, spectroscopy, peptide synthesis, biochemistry, (metallo)protein engineering, (bio)catalysis, and the characterization of cellular responses to effectors as well as molecular interactions in complex environments. The team develops interconnected projects in the following thematic areas: Energy, Catalysis, and Health.
The team consists of approximately fifty members, including 34 permanent staff: 10 CNRS researchers (sections 14, 15, and 18), 18 teacher-researchers from Aix Marseille University (CNU sections 31, 32, 64, 68, and 69), 4 study engineers (2 from AMU and 2 from CNRS), 1 technician (AMU), and 1 technical assistant (AMU)
