The laboratory council supports the iSm2 management in defining and monitoring the unit’s scientific strategy.
It serves as a forum for consultation where faculty members, researchers, engineers, technicians, administrative staff and doctoral students are represented, allowing everyone to contribute to the collective reflection on the laboratory’s main orientations.
Chaired by the unit’s Director, the laboratory council meets several times a year, either at the request of the management or of one third of its members.
The agenda is prepared by the management in consultation with the team leaders and staff representatives.
