Equality Committee

Our commitment to equality

As part of AMU's Action Plan for Equality (2025-2027) and the CNRS Mission for woman’s role, iSm2 is committed to a policy of gender equality and the fight against all types of discrimination (ie sexism, racism, LGBTQIA+, people with disabilities, religious affiliations). As part of this, a pair of Equality Correspondents (COREGALs) have been appointed and are responsible for carrying out this mission within the institute. The COREGALs began their mission in 2024 and set up an Equality Committee including various members of the teams making up the research unit.

The mission of the COREGALs

As a COREGAL, the priority of our action is to offer independent and sensitive support, while respecting confidentiality.

- To act as a listening unit for victims of discrimination and victims of sexist and sexual violence (SGBV);

- Offer practical support and assistance to victims;

- Provide guidance on the resources available from AMU and CNRS.

The Equality Committee's mission

- To disseminate information and events relating to equality issues;

- Raise awareness of equality issues among Institute members;

- To work on the implementation of concrete actions at Institute level.

These various actions are carried out in conjunction with our supervisory bodies, in particular through training courses (AMU: HR Respect, Equality and Diversity) in which all members of the unit can participate.

We listen to all members of the laboratory to prevent and act against all forms of discrimination and sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV). You are invited to come and talk to the unit individually and in complete confidentiality.
