Access the Editor
When you create or edit content on Drupal, the CKEditor 5 editor will appear with a toolbar at the top of the text area, containing various buttons and formatting options.

Write and Format
- Write and Format Text :
- Enter your text directly into the editor.
- Use the toolbar buttons to apply styles like bold, italic, and underline.
- To set the text style, use the style selection list to choose between heading and normal text for the body text.
- Create Lists :
- To create lists, click the bullet or numbered list buttons in the toolbar.
Add Links, Images or Documents
- Insert Links :
- Select the text you want to turn into a link and click the link icon. Enter the URL in the window that opens.
- Insert Images or Documents :
- Click the Media icon and upload your file from your computer or select a media already uploaded in the media library.
Use Advanced Styles
- Add Quotes :
- Use the quote button to add quotes.
- Insert Tables :
- Click the table icon and set the number of rows and columns.
- Align Text and Images :
- Use the alignment buttons to align your text to the left, right, center, or justified. Select an image and use the available alignment options to align it.
Create a Button Link
- Enter Button Text :
- Type the text you want to turn into a button (e.g., "Learn More").
- Select the Text :
- Select the text you just entered.
- Insert the Link :
- Click the link icon in the CKEditor 5 toolbar. In the window that opens, enter the URL where you want the button to point.
- Apply Button Style :
- Use the style selection list and choose "Button" to transform your link into a styled button.
- Save and Preview :
- Save your content and preview to see the result.
Choose Text Format
- Text Format :
- The Basic HTML format is sufficient for most content.
- If you have specific styles to apply, select Full HTML. However, to add specific styles, it is recommended to contact the IT specialist.
Additional Tips
- Explore the Toolbar : Take the time to hover over the different buttons to see what they do. Most of them have tooltips that explain their function.
