How to get there:

From Airport Marseille Provence: take the bus shuttle between Airport and Railway station Saint Charles in Downtown, then the metro line 1 until Vieux-Port station.

From Railway Station Saint Charles or your hotel: take the subway line M1 until Vieux-Port Station, then walk along le vieux port (around 10 minuts) until Palais du Pharo (see above on map). Or you may take a bus from le Vieux Port, line 83 utlil Palais du Pharo

Metro and bus system in Marseille: the companie RTM offers thru the Online Registration page a 7-day pass for 15 euros

Purchase of 7-day pass (metro, tramaway, bus and boat shuttle): 15 euros (see registation page)
The 7-day pass may be used on the whole metro, subway and bus network inside Marseille during 7 days. You cannot use it from the Airport. You can use it from Marseille Train Station, as well as between your hotel and the conference venue everyday. If purchased, the pass will be included in your welcome packet when you arrive at the conference venue. You can find more information about transportation in Marseille on the conference website, or on the Public Transportation Company in Marseille. In summer time, a boat shuttle between “Vieux-Port” and "La Pointe Rouge" starts every 30 minutes. This journey (from 7 am to 10 pm, free with the 7-days pass) takes 25 minutes and offers beautiful views of the city from the sea.
